Membership of the NPPCP is free and open to both practicing procurement professionals and individuals seeking to build a career in procurement.

About NPPCP Membership

The programme is administered by the Bureau of Public Procurement under the SPESSE Project, with support from the World Bank. NPPCP provides a structured and transparent pathway for developing procurement professionals across all levels, aligned with national standards and global best practices.
The NPPCP is designed as the professional procurement registry open to Nigerians and Non-Nigerians practicing procurement. Whether you are employed or unemployed, living within or outside Nigeria, the NPPCP offers an inclusive certification pathway tailored to your needs.

Individual Registration

To enroll in the NPPCP certification programme, applicants should follow these steps:
  1. Review the NPPCP Certification Framework — Carefully read the framework document to understand the available certification tiers and determine the level appropriate to your qualifications and experience.
  2. Complete Online Registration — Click on the "Register" button and fill in the required information accurately.
  3. Upload Required Documents — Attach all necessary supporting documents as specified in the registration form.
  4. Submit and Track Your Application — Submit your application and follow the on-screen process for updates, evaluation, and further guidance on your certification pathway.
All applications will be reviewed, and candidates will be assigned to the appropriate certification tier based on their academic background and relevant procurement experience as stated in the framework.

Corporate Registration

Corporate organisations wishing to enroll their staff in the programme should:
  1. Submit a formal letter of application addressed to the Coordinator, NPPCP at the Bureau of Public Procurement.
  2. Upon receipt, a detailed Corporate Enrollment Form and guidelines will be communicated, outlining the specific requirements, documentation, and process to be followed.
  3. The NPPCP will guide organisations through the enrollment process and recommend suitable certification pathways for nominated staff.
