The Nigeria Public Procurement Certification Programme (NPPCP) is a government-owned initiative fully supported by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) in partnership with the World Bank under the SPESSE project. There are no fees required to participate in the programme.
All costs associated with training, certification, and access to learning resources are covered under the SPESSE project funding, ensuring that eligible candidates across the public and private sectors can pursue professional procurement certification at no personal cost.
Who Is Eligible?
The programme is open to all Nigerians and non-Nigerians practicing or aspiring to practice procurement — whether employed or unemployed, working in the public or private sector, civil society, or international organisations, and whether residing within or outside Nigeria.
Commitment to Accessibility
BPP is committed to making procurement certification accessible to all qualified candidates. By removing financial barriers, the programme ensures that professionals at every level — from entry-level associates to senior practitioners — can build their capacity, advance their careers, and contribute to a more transparent and accountable procurement system in Nigeria.
